Here are a few tips for new newcomers and seasoned veterans who are coming to stay at the Cowra Ski Lodge.- (Tim Gotts)
Perisher Blue Pty. Ltd. has made a number of changes this year
The "Perisher Blue Card" (discount card) has been replaced with the "MyRide Club card".
Lift tickets will now be a plastic card similar to a credit card that will electronically operate gates prior
to getting onto to ski lift.
For those of you who did not take advantage of the Perisher Blue Card last year it would be a good idea to get a MyRide Club card as it offers good discounts on lift tickets and other offers during the season.
As taken from Perisher web site : - (as follows)
"Here's a great deal to take advantage of when you take a break at Perisher this season - MyRide Club.
By simply joining the MyRide Club for just $49 Adult or $27 Child, you will be entitled to receive the following benefits:

- 1-Day Lift Ticket for just $95 Adult and $52 Child when purchased and reload through Perisher's online store or $105 Adult and $58 Child when purchased at a Perisher Ticket Office.
- Room only rate at The Station that sleeps up to six people from $110* per room (minimum two nights stay) * Subject to availability. To make a booking call 1300 369 909.

- 15% discount on retail purchases at any Slopestyle Mountain Sports outlet
- One opportunity to bring a friend skiing/boarding for the day at the applicable daily rate of $99 for Adults or $54 for Children.
- 15% off RRP at Columbia Flagship stores.
- Access to exclusive MyRide Club offers and discounts throughout the season.
Once you have your MyRide Club card you can reload it, just log in at the online store"
Note the 5-Day any-day deal, if you buy before 19th June it's 5 days any time during the season.
More Hints:
- Book Ski Tickets online, mail or pickup on site it's cheaper.
- As there is no overnight parking at Cowra Lodge or in Perisher Valley it's a good idea to park at the Ski tube
terminal and catch the train up to Perisher.
The best hint I can give you is to pre buy your Ski lift ticket and then when you buy your Ski Tube ticket (with your valid ski lift ticket) buy a same day return which will cost $33(adult) $16(child) even if you are staying for a number of days. Then on your return trip do the same, buy a same day return ticket. It's cheaper than an open return. - When you get off the train in Perisher go upstairs, pick up your luggage out of lift, and to your left you will see Hans OverSnow Transport they will take you and your to the Lodge.
- Go onto the Perisher.com.au site for terms and conditions of the MyRide card and other good stuff the mountain has to offer, ski school, first up the mountain morning passes etc.
